Avantas CEO Lorane KinneyA pioneer in workforce planning for healthcare, Lorane has dedicated the last 30 years developing strategies to streamline and automate scheduling and staffing processes. Utilizing CQI methodology and evidenced-based strategies, Lorane led an impressive team of subject matter experts whose initial charge was to create high impact, scalable workforce solutions for healthcare organizations. This think-tank evolved into the company now known as Avantas. Lorane, who serves Avantas as its Chief Executive Officer, has assembled a diverse group of talented leaders. Their experiences are drawn from across the professional spectrum and continue the tradition of excellence that defines Avantas and its contributions to quality patient and financial outcomes by effectively managing human capital. 

 

Chris Fox

Chris FoxChris joined Avantas to solve an urgent technology issue when no external software company met the RFP requirements set forth by Avantas and its clients to serve their staffing and scheduling needs. We sought a fully web-hosted program with unlimited configuration capacity.  We required that it be scalable to provide a single view of multiple hospitals within a system and equally powerful as a desktop tool rolling down to the shift, skill and unit level. Once a full search revealed no such tool existed in the marketplace, Chris led an aggressive development project to create one. He utilized the wealth of Avantas experience managing 24X7 staffing operations and a talented development team to produce the only staffing application developed by healthcare professionals, for healthcare professionals.  Built on the framework of Avantas’ proprietary work strategies and utilizing advanced forecasting logic powered by SAS, Smart Square - the most intuitive, flexible and comprehensive application for managing the complete end-to-end process of healthcare staffing - was launched in the summer of 2007.  Chris serves Avantas as its Senior Vice President of Growth and Innovation leading the efforts to build out, improve and tell the story of Avantas Work Strategies.

 

Jackie Larson

Jackie LarsonLike her colleagues on the Avantas Leadership Team, Jackie brings a tremendous track record of success to her role of Avantas Vice President of Products and Services. Her experience in research and development, strategic planning and technology solutions provides a foundation from which her team supports both internal functions and the client experience.  Jackie’s astute, analytical approach facilitates significant process, financial, quality and operational improvements across the spectrum of Avantas’ Products and Services.
